These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Putnik mobile application and this website operated by Kodawarians. By using the App or Site, you agree to these Terms.
The service
Putnik provides on-device translation and related features. The App may require a one-time download of large AI models. Availability and performance depend on your device and storage.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- Attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent technical protections except where applicable law allows.
- Misrepresent machine translation as human professional translation where that could cause harm.
AI and accuracy
Translations are generated by automated models and may be incorrect, incomplete, or inappropriate for critical contexts (medical, legal, safety). You are responsible for how you use outputs. Do not rely on the App as the sole basis for high-stakes decisions.

THE APP AND SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KODAWARIANS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR SITE.
Third parties
Your use of Google Play or other platforms is also subject to their terms. Open-source and third-party components are used under their respective licenses.
Privacy
Our collection and use of information is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may modify these Terms. We will post an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
